Halp!

Thu Jul 2, 2009, 5:53 PM
My computer's being weird. The Audio in Skype will work when I have my headset on, however any sounds that are not in skype will be played through the speaker. Aka listing to voices with a headset then watching a movie with the audio coming from speakers.

Is there a way to set the audio to normal, like having everything play through headphones at once? And that i can change the volume for both at the same time?

Well.. maybe you need to reroute your sound from your speakers to your headset. Since you are using your Headset to speak, I assume that automatically the software(Skype in this case)would use the headset instead of the speakers.
wait what am I doing I'm a Docktor not a Mechanic :iconimstupidplz:

If this all turns out to be a Skype special feature which you accidentally selected, then tell me about it.
Sounds awsm useful!

blow your computer up.

Try going to the control panel, and going to the Sounds and Audio devices, and manually set your sound playback as your headset. I don't know if you have a usb or non-usb headset though...

It's a non usb headset. I could try and do that with sounds n' audio.

Your first idea is good too.
